Book editing software that counts instead of guessing

Upload a finished manuscript and get a list of specific, checkable problems: misspellings, mechanical errors, words repeating too close together, phrases recurring across chapters, and sentence rhythm that has flattened out without you noticing.

It does not write prose. There is no such feature, and there is not going to be one.

Every finding names its rule

You get the rule it came from and the paragraph it is in, so you can disagree with it. A score you cannot interrogate is not much use.

Built for fiction

General checkers underline fragments, dialect and ungrammatical dialogue, which is most of what makes a novel work. This ignores all of it.

Whole manuscript at once

A phrase used once per chapter for nine chapters is invisible on any single page. Counting the whole book is the only way it shows up.

Questions

What file formats can I upload?

Word (.docx), EPUB, PDF, and plain text or Markdown. Chapters are detected from the document’s own headings or chapter markers.

Will it rewrite my sentences?

Only if you ask for a specific suggestion, and then only as a proposal you accept or reject. It cannot generate new prose.

Does my manuscript get used to train AI?

No. It is never used as training data, and the file you upload is read in memory rather than stored.

What does it cost?

The measurements are free to use.
